AWS cloud certificate or python?

I’m thinking of learning one or the other. I’m from a non-tech background (business management major). I have experience in admin work mainly, such as administrative assistant and office manager jobs.

Which of the above in your opinion would be more beneficial and attractive to employers to know? I have relatives and friends at AWS who could put in a good word for me or redirect my resume to the right place. My hope is to land a “starter” role that eventually leads me to a software development role. For example, starting off as a business analyst then pivoting to a more programming-intensive position.
