How to go about asking the ceo of a company for a summer internship?

Hi everybody,

I'm going to be speaking with the ceo of a fairly large company for 10 minutes on the phone. I reached out to inquire about the intersection of life sciences and business and got a response that they would be down. I would like to ask for a summer internship since I'm nearing the end of my college career but I wasn't explicit about that from the get go bc I feared it would be too forward. What would be the best way to go about this during the conversation?
