Quick background about me:
Graduated with an MBA 5 years ago in an operations track. I've worked for a renewable energy company as an analyst for about 2 years before moving due to family health issues. Worked as a temp for about 2 years. Then worked as a consultant for about a year and a half (this is the job I got fired from) in the DC area.
Like the title says, I've applied to over 900 jobs since being told I was getting let go. I've had 3 face to face interviews. Did not get any offers. I'm waiting to hear back from 2 jobs, one that I've had 4 rounds of interviews for (and would still have to have a face to face on) and one that I have a second round phone call this Friday. 90% of the applications have been through LinkedIn. The other ten have been Ziprecruiter and Indeed.
Due to my lease ending, I left the area near DC where I was working previously and have been crashing with my folks (in Florida) to save money. I plan on staying here until I either get an offer from either of the two jobs or I get rejected.
Now, presuming I get rejected, I have a couple of options (and I see them). I could move to Chicago, where I have friends and work temp jobs until I find something more permanent and/or I could take a bootcamp in order to get more experience with SQL and Tableau.
Any and all advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
