Can anyone in HR shed some light on what all happens during a work history check?
I got a continent offer based on work history check. A few questions on this.
How far do they go back? Some dates may be misaligned due to how long ago these jobs were.
Can you tell if an employee was terminated? Was terminated at a job a few years ago. Also- started job through a temp agency then got hired on full time. Will the dates reflect that? Dates on my resume just reflect time there- including through temp agency.
What information can they see about current employer? Transferred departments about a month ago- hate it- but didnt include on my resume since it wasn't relevant to the job i was applying for so still have my old job title listed.
Afraid these discrepancies will disqualify me
