So I saw the letter that said I didn't passed the probation but they told me let's try for another month. I felt like they gonna fired me anyway.
So long story short, I was told to send email from my boss account and accidentally saw email said I'm not gonna passed the probation period and my last date is 15th next month. I was shocked but have been applying to new jobs in case shitty things happen.
So my boss called me in to talk earlier this week. She asked how it was after 1 and half month working here.
I said, it was okay. I enjoy doing lot of things even though I know there's many thing to learn.
So this is what she said.
-She said I work fine and fast.
BUT!
-
I need to up my appearance a bit, like neat hair and nail. (She only mentioned formal looking clothing when I started) I have this super thick curly hair so you can imagine it on the wild side. So those things are not a problem, it easy to fixed. But I felt like it should be mentioned from the start.
-
I need to be more detailed (I just change my career path, so lots of things I won't know but said I'm trying to learn)
-
Be more precise, and sharp when dealing customer
-
Can think in her place, and know what she want.
All and all, I think I can fixed but I felt like these things should be mentioned before she decided I won't pass the probation.
So after the point given, she said let's try for one more month and see.
Me and my friend feel like she just keeping me there because she couldn't find a replacement and she might afraid that the replacement could be worse. As I know she is busy and absolutely didn't have time to find a new person yet for sure.
So I felt like I'm not gonna passed my probation anyway, I'm most worry about timing and money. Like it might take longer than I expected to find new job, and my saving might run out.
So what do you guys thinks?
