I work as an inventory specialist for a small specialized retailer. My job is very fluid ans unpredictable and I do not enjoy it at all. We’re about to go through a major technology change that I strongly believe will be bad for the business. I want to get out. What are some of my options?

Frankly, I’m overwhelmed. I don’t feel prepared for this technological transition and I know the company and its employees are not prepared for what’s to come. I don’t want to bail, but I’ve gone so far as to present my opinion to the CEO (he asked) and it will not have an effect. The writing is on the wall.

I’m not sure what I want to do, but I have a B.S. in Psychology.

I need to get out. Is it reasonable to go from making 52k to $15/hr to take a breather while looking for other jobs?
