18 year old, no experience, I don't think anyone will ever hire me

I have been job searching for 2 years. I was 16 back then, I'm 18 now and still nothing.

I've applied to McDonald's, they told me I was "perfect" during the interview. Rejected.

I've applied for Tesco. Again, they told me I was "perfect" during the interview. Rejected.

Today I went in for an interview, and they told me I was perfect. Now that brings me more anxiety than joy.

Of course, I've applied to hundreds more jobs, those are just the ones I got an interview for.

I need a job desperately, I'm not going to be able to afford the flat I've been living in after 3 more months. But it just feels so impossible, who's going to hire an 18 year old with no experience? They might as well hire a 16 year old with no experience, they can pay them less.

Is it possible that some people just never get hired, no matter how hard they try?
